While there is a place for fusion cuisine, the eating of animals from "nose to tail", and food that looks like a work of art - Smoke Stack is not that place. We take top quality fresh produce, sourced locally where possible and cook it quickly and simply Do not take the above statement as a lack of passion for food - our head chef has been cooking steaks on chargrills for over 10 years so there is very little she doesn't know about meat. All our steak comes from John Gilmours in the Scottish Borders and is trimmed on the premises. we are particularly proud of our rump steak which is trimmed in a 'boston-cut' - differing shapes according to how you like your steak cooked.
