our wines have been selected from the ranges of four different wine merchants and have been chosen out of around 100 different bottles which were tasted by a panel of owners, staff and regulars - it’s a dirty job but someone has to do it.

we base our selections on quality and value for money rather than aiming for particular grape varieties or nationalities so if your personal favourite is not represented it’s because we didn’t find one that matched our standards. this does mean, however that you can experiment without too much risk - wines you may not have tried before or unusual grape blends are there because they are great wines - so please trust us and give them a go!
